I found the original recipe on <a href="http://www.lovintheoven.com/2010/04/chocolate-chip-oreo-cookies-mailing.html">Lovin’ From the Oven</a>. I made few adjustments to the original recipe. Here is the recipe with the adjustments I made:</p> <p>1 Cup of butter</p> <p>6 Tablespoons of sugar</p> <p>6 Tablespoons of brown sugar</p> <p>2 Eggs</p> <p>1 Teaspoon of vanilla</p> <p>1 Teaspoon of baking soda</p> <p>1/2 Teaspoon of salt</p> <p>8 broken Oreos</p> 1 ¼ Cup flour <p>1 Cup of Chocolate chips</p> <p>Method</p> <p>Cream the butter, add the sugar mix until combined well. Add the eggs, combine, add the vanilla. In another bowl stir the baking soda and salt in the flour. add to the butter mix and combine. Stir in the chocolate chips and Oreo.</p> <p>Scoop out medium sized scoops using an ice cream scooper or a cookie dough scooper and line on baking sheets. Bake for 10 minutes or until the edges are golden in a pre heated 350 degrees oven . Let them rest for few minutes before you move them. Let them cool completely if you plan to store them.
